ITT AES has
extensive experience in developing and demonstrating Augmented
Reality for soldiers and first-responders. For over 5 years, we
supported the DoD’s Battlefield Augmented Reality program aimed
at solving the basic research issues related to military use of
mobile AR systems in urban environments. ITT AES continuously
seeks for innovative solutions for the DoD and first-responder
customers to provide them with AR products for a variety of real
world applications.

The
Remote Control Program (RCP) group of AES specializes in automation
and remote control of any type of vehicle for use in automated
routing, teleoperated control, programmed maneuvers, and asset
tracking. These systems can be used in hazardous situations, such as
mine clearing, HAZMAT operations, bomb squad, and avalanche/mudslide
road clearing; in weapon exercises for testing or training with
actual unmanned target vehicles; for GPS control and tracking of
vehicles or other assets; and for repetitive operation re-supply in
port or other areas where manpower is limited.
